Welcome to my website and thanks for your interest. 

I provide counseling services for individuals, families, groups and adolescents.  My specialities include Dual Diagnosis (co-occurring chemical dependency and mental health issues); corporate families and individuals (especially those who relocate frequently for work); and individuals struggling with major life transitions.

I believe the best counseling is done in a safe, confidential and collaborative environment.  It can be difficult to reach out, so it is important to find a counselor who will work with you in a comfortable manner to understand your concerns and help you create positive change.

My clients have described me as compassionate, respectful and supportive, with a good sense of humor.  I take a pragmatic approach to therapy and encourage clients to identify priorities, learning styles and areas of immediate need.  Therapy is a unique and personal experience, and I adapt my skills and resources to each client.

By working together, we can find ways to cope with the difficult aspects of change and celebrate the gifts that it can bring.
