My career started in the corporate world where I worked in a variety of functions for nearly 20 years.  Over time, I was drawn to working with individuals in transition on a more personal level and became a therapist.

My own life has included multiple relocations and career changes, as well as studying, living and working abroad.  As an outgrowth of my personal experience, I am interested in working with individuals who are going through major life transitions.

I have experience with a variety of counseling and mental health issues, and also work within three specialty areas:

• Dual Diagnosis (individuals with co-occurring chemical dependency and mental health issues)

• Impaired Professionals

• Organizational individuals and families (and others who relocate frequently for work)

I particularly enjoy working with:

• Corporate, military, missionary, foreign service individuals and families

• Expatriates, repatriates and immigrants

• International students and faculty
